FINAL IMAGE 1: 

KUCHISAKE-ONNA

The myth of the slit mouthed woman originating in Japan.

To create this look x2 hand sculpted prosthetics were applied to either side of the models mouth with pale blue undertones of the skin with textured added with an air brush and stippling. Fake blood and fake wound filler being added onto the prosthetic itself.

LA LLORONA 

The myth of the weeping woman originating from Latin America with this image depicting one of her unlucky victims.

The campfire and creepy sleepover story depicting the decrepit crazy woman.

Hand made and hand painted prosthetics applied with harsh conturing was added. Hair was back combed and given an overall messy look.

MOTHMAN 

The myth of the creature who has been sighted in Point Pleasant VA, America since 1966. 

Handmade prosthetics hand made and hand painted from silicone, hair punctured, with handmade and hand painted resin nails. 

Handmade prosthetic wings. Wing skin made out of layered baldise and painted with alcohol paints. Spine paper mashed sown with fur and feathers.

Handmade Wig with hand sown wefts of hair with strings of feathers with a mask made out of hand crafted eyes and hand painted beak made out of resin.
